She has over fifteen years youth work experience, the majority of these being with Oxford Youth Works where she headed up an inter-cultural project with black and Asian girls. Anna's role includes supporting Hull YFC's already established projects on the Boulevard as well as developing other work in the community.

Richard Newby (Youth & Community Worker)

Richard is originally from Ludlow on the Welsh Border. Before joining us he spent a year working with street children in Bolivia with the charity Youth With A Mission. Rich began working with the team in August 2005 as his placement whilst studying on a Youth and Ministry diploma course. He finished his studies in May 2007 and has since been working with us full-time.

Fran Bowman (Admin & Youth Worker)

Fran is from Robin Hood country! Before coming to Hull to study psychology, she spent a gap year as a youth worker in the Yorkshire Dales and has also been involved in short term overseas mission trips. After university, she joined Hull YFC in June 2007 and spends half her time in the office being organised and half her time as a youth worker on the Boulevard.

Emma Newby (Family Support Worker)

Emma is originally from Kent, but moved to Hull after marrying Rich. She completed her Masters in Social Work at Hull Uni and now works 4 days a week as our Family Support Worker. Emma is currently developing opportunities to support the families of the children and young people who attend our weekly activities.

Andy Tillotson (Youth and Community Worker)

Andy is Hull born and bred. He began volunteering with Hull YFC in 2007. His nephews started attending the Breakfast Club and he soon started to help out serving cereals and toast. Andy then began helping out with the Wednesday Youth Clubs and later helped us take groups to Frontier Youth Camp and Greenbelt. In 2010, we found some funding and since that Andy has been working with us part-time.
